This whole week, I have learned a ton. I learned how to control a class, you do not always have to yell. Students will listen if you pose a question to them instead of yelling at them. They could respond better. I was in a third grade, second grade, and kindergarten classes so far this week. My favorite is still Kindergarten, and I realize throughout my experience that first day is probably most difficult because they're learning how to read and all these new syllables. This experience has been the best in my entire life!

Wednesday, I was in a different second grade class and it was a great experience. The teacher constructed her class in a very good manner. The students started off doing things in their June folder, and worked quietly. Then they had three specials, chorus, art, and gym. It was a lot of fun traveling with the class all day.The math lesson was about counting money, and addition facts. I learned how to construct the class, and the teacher I observed is a really great teacher.

Monday, I was in a second grade class! I really enjoyed the day! They started off by writing about one exciting thing they did over the weekend. Then if they wanted to share, they went to the front of the room and shared. Then she called them to the rug to read a chapter book to them, a series they have been reading all year. They did spelling next, and took the pre-test then cut it out and glued it into their notebooks. I thought this was a great idea, that case they would never lose it. Their Spelling homework also went in that notebook and instead of doing boring homework like sentences or three times each, she gives them a paper with cool different assignments, and they have to do three, due Friday. I thought that was a great idea! Then they moved onto math, and learned about graphs. They did two worksheets on it. Overall another great day!!
